Dr. Amodio values Core Health as a congruent expansion of his many other searches and successes. Trained in the Marines and as a Black Belt in Karate, Carl now developed and practices at Whole Body Health, Inc. in Roswell, Georgia. He graduated with honors from Life University in Marietta, Georgia. In addition to his Chiropractic courses of study, he also attended seminars on the weekends to complete the 100-hr. certification course in Applied Kinesiology — instructed by some of the top doctors in the field. He expanded his studies to include Clinical and Specialized Kinesiology. Dr. Amodio is a strong advocate of healthy nutrition. He specializes in nutritional balancing that is individually targeted for each person, to ensure optimal body functioning. He also employs various emotional release techniques including color therapy, hypersonic repatterning (sound therapy), and the "Accu-Power" release technique developed and perfected by Dr. James Durlacher. These techniques are very effective with phobia elimination, addictions, and "negative life belief" removal. He also does allergy elimination that is "very fast and very effective." Most allergies can be eliminated in just one visit utilizing kinesiology and acupressure. It is safe, comfortable, and non-invasive — so safe that he even treats infants. His chiropractic adjustments include various light force techniques. Dr. Amodio was born and raised in the Hudson Valley Region of upstate New York. He grew up in Dunedin, Florida (Tampa Bay area) and lived there for about 10 years. After an enlistment in the United States Marine Corps, he was selected as one of only 12 individuals nationwide to receive a Marine Corps Scholarship. He attended Fordham University in New York City for his undergraduate work and attained a Bachelor's Degree in Arts. After graduating, he moved to the Atlanta area and has been a resident since 1992. He is the former president and founder of a local social/cultural Italian-American organization in Atlanta, and likes to attend cultural events. He is also very active in his church, The Cathedral of Christ the King in Atlanta, has begun a prototype revolutionary healing ministry for the Archdiocese of Atlanta, and is a staunch Catholic devoted to his faith.
